Best case scenario…

Almighty God, finding no further reason to remain patient and merciful with us, hurls a moon-sized fireball directly towards our planet at twice the speed of light (just over 1.3 billion mph) and wipes out all of humanity in a quick yet hellaciously fiery ordeal that we deserve beyond any logical question.

Indeed it seems this is the best for which we can reasonably hope at this point and I’ve learned to embrace it.
