Anyway, here’s one of the results from when I asked an image generator to illustrate “James Hetfield thrash metal era” — important because this is the period that laid the foundation for what Metallica ultimately became.

Hetfield didn’t get inked up until sometime after Reload if I’m not mistaken, and his guitar was explorer-style, but this is certainly close enough.
