Agassi changed the game (in his own way)

Andre Agassi won eight majors during his pro tennis career, but it was his rock star hair (later revealed to be extensions) and luminously colored accessories, which was indicative of nearly everything during the ‘90s, that caused him to stand apart from the blandness of his counterparts and, some might say, the straightlaced sport as a whole.

In fact he chose not to play at the All England Club in London for three years specifically because of its monochromatic dress code, although the yearly tournament held at the club — better known as Wimbledon, widely regarded as the sport’s most prestigious — ironically became his first major win.
