Cissy Houston sang backup for Elvis in Las Vegas during the summer of 1969.

Cissy’s daughter, Whitney, would go on to have a wildly successful pop career of her own. Sadly both Elvis and Whitney would pass away while still in their 40s.

Cissy, age 89, is still alive and well.
