Yesterday the Senate passed a $40 billion aid package to Ukraine. Two hours later, the Senate blocked a $48 billion relief bill to assist local restaurants and other small businesses, citing “its impact on the federal deficit and inflation.”

Trust me, they’re laughing at us.
