Top Gun: Maverick makes its long-awaited world premiere at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 28, followed by a showing on the deck of an “unnamed” decommissioned aircraft carrier in San Diego (presumably the USS Midway) on May 4, and then same-day screenings at the Cannes Film Festival in France and the 72nd Royal Film Performance in London on May 18 — finally reaching theaters stateside on May 27.
