But this is the most appropriate one yet.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez arrived at the Met Gala in New York City on September 13 — an event for which tickets started at $35,000 — wearing a dress with Tax the Rich emblazoned around the back.

The notorious AOC, who represents New York’s 14th congressional district, said the dress was inspired by a conversation with her designer in which they discussed “what it means to be working-class women of color at the Met.” Ironically the partner who designed the dress, Aurora James, has been dealing with considerable tax issues of her own for a number of years. It’s unknown if that was mentioned during their little heart-to-heart.

The sanctimony is nauseating, and a recent editorial in the Boston Herald was perfectly blunt about it:

“Rep. Ocasio-Cortez makes at least $174,000 a year. She is not working class by a long shot. Clearly AOC saw her dress as social warrior armor — kicking down the doors (which were being held open for her) and telling the rich folks they needed to fund her Green New Deal and everything else on her agenda.”

Couldn’t agree more. Indeed her level of stupidity is dangerous.
