Team USA recently won Olympic gold in basketball for the 16th time. All other countries have four gold medals combined.

Yet all success pales in comparison to the 1992 U.S. men’s Olympic basketball team, who defeated their opponents by an average of 44 points en route to the gold medal at the Barcelona Games.
