Mariah Carey was once rejected after showing up to the interview in a bare midriff and answering “…he be dead” when asked if the Notorious BIG would be visiting the building.

The list of celebrities who have also faced rejection includes Diane Keaton, Gloria Vanderbilt, Joan Crawford, Madonna, Billy Joel, Cher, Alex Rodriguez, Téa Leoni, Judd Apatow, Carly Simon, Barbra Streisand and Elizabeth Taylor.
