Reunited at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia after six years apart, the original foursome played a brief set (“Children of the Grave,” “Iron Man,” and “Paranoid”) for the transatlantic Live Aid benefit on July 13, 1985 to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia.

They reunited again for the climax of Ozzy’s supposed farewell tour in 1992 (he would launch the Retirement Sucks Tour just three years later) and once more in 1998, which resulted in a Grammy-winning live album.
They called it quits for good with a final performance of their The End Tour in Birmingham, England (where the band was founded almost 50 years earlier) on February 4, 2017.
