Avoiding mob rule

There are 3,143 counties (and equivalents) in the United States. Half the population, about 160 million, inhabit the 146 shaded areas on this map.

While it’s troubling — and yet amusing, in its own twisted way — to hear about the supposed unfairness of the Electoral College from the party that created pharisaical Superdelegates, I hope this better explains to those who remain fraught over the purported racism incorporated by our founding documents (according to Robert Reich, among others) that Article Two of the Constitution has in fact never been more relevant.
