A self-described liberal who supports gay marriage, recreational drug use, universal healthcare, and universal basic income, Rogan is also an enthusiastic hunter, meat-eater, and (naturally) a vocal supporter of the Second Amendment who has previously endorsed the presidential campaigns of Gary Johnson and Ron Paul.

Apparently he isn’t liberal enough for employees at Spotify headquarters in Manhattan, who threatened to strike if they weren’t granted direct editorial supervision over his future podcasts — for which Rogan signed a $100 million deal — that will begin streaming on the platform in January.

Spotify execs haven’t budged for the most part. Good for them, and good for Joe Rogan.
